The Waggon and Horses is a 17th century inn, standing beside the busy Market place of Bedale North Yorkshire. Offering comfortable accommodation, catering based on home-cooked dishes and a bar featuring a range of properly kept ales and largers, we're known for our friendly service and value for money.
 
We have our own free private parking area exclusively for use by our customers.
 
Bedale is a small market town, sitting between both of Yorkshires' National Parks. A drive of less than thirty minutes will get you to the heart of either the Yorkshire Dales or the Yorkshire Moors and with the A1 only a mile away you also have easy access to York, Harrogate, Thirsk, Ripon, Newcastle and beyond.
 
Comfortably based here, guests can enjoy mile upon mile of unspoilt countryside, or explore the impressive ruins of Yorkshires' abbeys. Sporting guests can easily reach several excellent golf courses, racecourses or shooting grounds, while for families, there are theme parks and other entertainments.
